How to Shoot Clay Pigeons. The starting point to shooting consistently well is making sure that all the fundamentals are in place. Unlike rifle shooting which is aiming a static gun at a static target, shotgun shooting requires movement and therefore requires the gun to be pointing wherever it is you may be looking (ie the target, always). Clay pigeon shooting, also known as clay target shooting, is a shooting sport involving shooting a firearm at special flying targets known as clay pigeons, or clay targets. The terminology commonly used by clay shooters often relates to times past, when live-pigeon competitions were held.
Our Experience Packages run from 40 targets per person to 60 targets per person, and we can host groups of all sizes. We provide Clay Targets, Shotguns, Ammunition, PPE and as many experienced Instructors as required for your group size.

We are also have all the required authorisations from Police Scotland to host mobile-events so we can come to land of your choosing should you so wish (note: use of nominated land will be based on an initial inspection and suitability assessment by us prior to the event.)
